I sit in the park listening
To the rustle of leaves
And thoughts of you consuming me
Finally here you come to me
Your cool breeze washed away my anxiety
And soon your leaves will change colors before my eyes
The splendor and the magic changing the trees
Become red, yellow, green, orange, and brown
Remind me of better dream you'll show it to me
You always had been my favorite
Time when everything bursts with its last beauty
As if you have been saving up all year for the grand finale
Welcome to my side autumn
Come, play, and join the leaves
To dance the autumn waltz

I like the articulation and insight of the poem. It captures the poet's conviction of the variegated beauty of Autumn. A lovely piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
