Welcome, New Year, once more
Bidding adieu to the year gone by
We are all delight, to welcome you in pomp
May Peace and Harmony prevail around.

Let us forget all misdeeds and nightmares
Let us vow not to harm to anybody anymore
And extend help to the poor and downtrodden
Their smiles will make us happy in heart

Let us convey the messages of love to all
Irrespective of caste, creed and religion
No more blood. No more blood of the innocent
But loving gift of blood for new life.

Let us win hearts of common people
By way of little bit love and sympathy,
Not by way of guns and bullets
But through philanthropy and care.

Dear friends, lets pray to Almighty
On New Year's Day for peaceful days
No more massacres and no more mourning
Only to maintain peace and tranquility.
