What A Horrible, Horrible Dream Poem by Andrew Matthews

What A Horrible, Horrible Dream

I'm surrounded by Monochrome and I can feel it
I see Metallic Crystal Flowers grow
Buildings, Railway tracks underground
Dark dark vibe invading engulfing my dream.

It's disgusting to be where I am, the 20's
Old Glasgow town a time I don't belong.
A deceased infant in a roomless tenement
White masks hiding the putridity in front of me.

Metal Crystals clatter and ring like glass breaking in a disgusting
Utterly horrible time loop.
I wake up swetting and I'm so glad that I did!
