What Am I? Poem by lisa hancox

What Am I?

Rating: 5.0

What am I if I curl around the world like a bed of knives?
What am I if I'm a murderer?
What am I if I take someones life?
What am I if people fear me?

I'm a blanket of fear,
Maybe far, maybe near,
But somewhere you will have seen me,
On holidays.

I cant get punished when I take someones life,
But I fill someone elses life,
With grief!

Why do I have to do this?
It's not my fault!
I was made this way.
Or is this just how I turned out?

What am I if I curl around the world like a bed of knives?
What am I if I'm a murderer?
What am I if I take someones life?
What am I if people fear me?
I am the sea!
