What I Want From You Poem by Madina Morr

What I Want From You

Rating: 4.5

WHAT I WANT FROM YOU?
HA!
Its more then you are willing to give.
I ask for love,
and you give half of it.
WHAT I WANT FROM YOU?
It should be easy to tell,
LET YOU TELL IT,
you know me very well.
I want RESPECT, HONER, and GRATITUDE-
But this-
I just can't get that from you.
You PREACH a good sermon,
Now that ain't no lie-
But when it comes to DOING...
You CRASH, you BURN, you DIE.
WHAT I WANT FROM YOU?
Is what i wanted all along,
YET, you don't understand,
YOUR HEART IS WHAT I CALL MY HOME.
You may put them before ME,
And that's just fine,
BUT DON'T ACT LIKE YOU LOVE ME WHEN I HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE.
Lets keep it casual, lets keep it clean.
Lets not fight, lets not be mean.
Lets behave, lets keep it clean.
Lets just say...
What i what from you,
You can't give to me.
