what i want what i found

What I’m
Looking for,
Is a love
That’s forever.

What I’m
Praying for,
Is a match
Made in heaven.

What I
Want is for,
A man to
Put his heart
On the line.

Commitment is
What I deserve.

But,

What I’m
Searching for
Is a man
To stand by me.

And
All of that
I have found.

In a man
Like you,
I have found this
And so much
More.

I have found
Someone
To go
The distance,
And
Make me weak
At the knees.

I have found
My flame
In the night,
And
Someone to
Honor me
For keeps.

Not only that
But,

I have found
Someone
To love
Me
For me.

And
That person is

You

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
