What If I Have Nothing Real To Do? Poem by Shalom Freedman

What If I Have Nothing Real To Do?

What if I have nothing real to do
For the rest of my life?
What if I have done
What I could do
And now anything else I do
Is meaningless?
What if I am finished?
If I am done
And yet still have to breathe in this world
What will I do with the days weeks months years ahead
If I have nothing real to do in them?
