What If You Were Perfect? Poem by Jessica Kissner

What If You Were Perfect?

Rating: 2.7

What if, what if,
Is all I hear you say.
What if I was strong?
What if I was Handsome?
Why can’t you just see,
You are perfect in my eyes.
Instead of changing who you are,
Change what you feel inside.

What if I was special?
What if I was famous?
What if I could have courage?
Or could run fast?
If you don’t have faith that you are all these things,
Then what are you truly?
You are perfect in all these things,
Just remember who you are to me.
