What Impression They Cary

Rating: 5.0

I had remained devoid of love
Till the time I started to believe
The power of love and its impact
I was forced to agree and act

I worked as guide
My work to tourists was to confide
Instill confidence and trust
Make them comfortable with no mistrust

When they are on foreign soil
They should boil with anger
When no facility is granted
And dishonor is meted

What impression they carry?
When leave the country
Tell their countrymen to visit often
And know the culture even

I used to see some eagerness
In their eyes with little aloofness
No conversation skill yet willingness
To know more about the local people and their dresses

I used to brief them about background
Some historical facts when they went round
I was fully conversant with skill
They used to agree with almost will

I failed to notice one thing among local people
They knew nothing about freedom struggle
The heroic struggle and sufferings made by youth
This was our heritage and very much proud of truth

Well written Diana Robillard-Hoy2 minutes ago most interesting and informative. There is still a bit of broken English due to translation. Not bad, I can still understand what you are trying to deliver, but still there. Comment +1 wow
