What Is A Veteran?
Veterans are everyday people
Who happen to make a choice
They enrolled in the military
They definitely had a voice
Some came home okay, it seemed
Some had scars on the outside
Others had scars where one could see
Needing God to be their guide
A veteran is so many things, we know
And we cherish and honor them all
As our flags fly high in tribute
They can all stand proud and tall!
