What is this sensation welling inside
A vague familiarity tantalizing
Suggests a light shining with pride
I’ve known it before, the bell does ring
What is this tickling of youthful type
Tugging at places covered in webs
A lonely place is swelling with hype
This feeling flows but never ebbs
What is this urge to smile at life
Leaving me restless in my own skin
I’ve lived for years comfortable in strife
Yet stepping out of comfort is no sin
What is this rise against my norm
Taking shape and taking its place
A beginning of beauty I feel take form
My breath is sharper, my heart does race
What is this wondrous wake of emotion
Stirring dust for a spot to begin
Making waves of love and devotion
I believe I know, I’m happy again
