What Is Time? Poem by Greg Edwards

What Is Time?

Rating: 5.0

What is time, when you stand alone?
What is time, when you have no home?
What is time, when you share it with none?
What is time, when you always run?
Shorter than a blink of an eye,
Longer than the thought it takes to lie,
Lighter than clean consciousness,
Heavier than a guilty kiss.
Quieter than a dropped pin,
Louder than a cardinal sin.
What is time, when you feel alone,
What is time, when you flee your home,
What is time, that is none to share,
What is time, when your run from care?

Greg, I can see a new concept of time in this poem related to the state of mind and social circumstances. Regards Naseer
