What Poems Have To Be
Instant pain or pleasure,
Fiery arrows
That you treasure,
Longing to be free,
Passionate spree,
Reaching out
Trying to discover,
Immortality,
That's how poems have to be,
Like faith, like destiny,
Blindly believing,
That only Love
Can set you free.
If only all poems could be as you say, they would build and nourish all through the day.
