What Sweetness Held Between My Arms Poem by Matthew Densley

What Sweetness Held Between My Arms

What sweetness held between my arms
She's soft as silk and warm to touch
Trapped and bound within her charms
I fear I love her far too much

I hear her soul, it beckons mine
And mine cannot refuse her call
Her love is endless and divine
Though selfishly, I want it all

Enchanting is her smile to me
Her happiness, I long to share
Dazzling are her eyes to see
There is no jewel that could compare

So what's to fear when all is joy
And tranquil is my muddled mind?
If she's my girl and I her boy
A fool I'd be to fear her bind
