What thought of you should I have today?
While walking in these nostalgic lanes,
Among those crooning sounds from the unknown.
Seems nothing has changed besides the thoughts of mine and yours,
Others are still flowing in those momentous lanes of life,
I intend to flow with them but couldn’t,
Those etched memory lanes stops me,
But without any overwhelmed surge of compunction,
Should I repent for loving you?
Or shouldn’t I?
Which reminiscences’ should I have today of us?
The one when we kiss for the first time,
Or the one when we took our atypical paths,
The one when you made me laugh in those arduous days,
Or the one that I made you cry for your immeasurable adult lies.
Nothing has remain as before after that lightning struck,
The fleeting happiness of ours is now the story of veiled memorabilia.
Still what thought of you should I have today?
