What You Get Is A Pinch To Feel Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

What You Get Is A Pinch To Feel

I'm here to bite not to lick.
Or to soothe blemished egos.
I'm not one to sit and kiss a bruise.
Nor spread honey,
On an attacking wolfe's lips.

What you get is a pinch to feel.
I will not keep things deluded,
For your appeal.

I wish to keep things real.
It makes life more appreciated.
And to leave the deceit of thieves...
To plot their misdeeds,
Upon minds fantasized about 'their' realities!
