When All Seems Lost... Poem by Brett White

When All Seems Lost...

Rating: 5.0

When all seems lost, there's more to be found;
Despair not, take solace in the fertile ground,
Teeming with lillies, and sweet birds which sing:
Oh the Joys which God through Nature can bring.
Even the Simplest Ray of Light Shining -
Can Illuminate the Darkest Lining.
So when it seems there's not much hope to be found,
Let Love and Light within your Soul Abound.
Remember not the hurts of yesterday,
Allow their negativity o'er me, no sway.
Indeed, I say, Praise God every single day-
For if peace thou seek, it's the only way.
Be grateful for every single blessed breath,
Eschew any and all fears of Love's Death.
Give thanks for each bite during every meal,
Never neglect awe at a Sunset's beauty to steal.
Enjoy -not just glance -at a budding flower's bloom,
For the seconds -like days -are gone too soon.
Indeed, they fade faster than my lost dreams,
And you know, if you're going devise schemes...

You could do infinitely worse,
Than being an ailing love's ICU nurse.
