When bright lights are bright, they are bright
Even when your eyes are shut
Until you open them
You may find your breaking point
It may seem an ordinary day going badly
But bad days go worse with bad people
My bad day turned into a bad dream
Everything seemed as it shouldn't seem
I don't know how
Bad things happen fast
Walking around Ravenna, to walk away steam
I covered my cry faces
When no one could see
Until time covered everything inside
That was taking over me
Even when waking up the very next day
Those bad things and more
Are what my thoughts had to say
I woke up to a morning of more tears
But when mommy said just go back to sleep
I looked to a friend to explain my fears
And I began to weep
He gave me some of the best advice
And showed me sad people can have good times
By showing me a healthy way of recovery
Of going through bad times
