When Grace Comes Knocking

Love’s grace revealed truth to my soul
Flooding my heart with pain
How far I’d drifted from life’s goal
Living shamefully in vain

Rebellious to The Father’s laws
Selfishly walking blind
Opening, entering devils’ doors
While closing, life’s behind

How careless long, I walked this way
Succumbed to Satan’s charms
Blasphemous living night and day
Within demonic arms

The world I saw through selfish eyes
Lustful for personal gain
Till facts revealed Satan’s disguise
And Truth began to reign

Jesus was knocking at my door
Heaven was calling out
So clear, I couldn’t ignore
Nor have a moment’s doubt

Our God is true, Jesus is real
So is Heaven and hell
Regardless how we think or feel
Whatever, man’s books tell

Reading the bible through and through
Daily seeking God’s face
I know exactly what to do
To run and win life’s race

Leaving Satan, my former life
I’ve quit my wayward past
I’m blessed joining the righteous wife
Of He who’s First & Last…..
