When I know you're hurting
And your heart is in pain
The sun seems to go away
All it does is rain

When I now you're hurting
Gloom fills your room
That's when all the flowers
All forget to bloom


When I know you're hurting
I wish I could be there
Just to let you know
That someone really cares

When I know you're hurting
I wish I could make the pain go away
But I know it's part of living
Hurt's take hold of us some days

When I know you're hurting
This is what I would say
The hurt and pain you feel
Will one day go away
