When It Rains Poem by Patricia Anne Garcia

When It Rains

Raindrops falling on the windows
Shivering, as the cold wind blows
People are seeking for warmth
Slowly knocking on people's hearts

Blue skies turn to gray
You slowly went and walked away
In the darkest corners you'll find refuge
The inviting peace you can't refuse

The rain pours real hard
Like the heart that fell, now broken apart
When it rains, there's also a heart in pain
A heart that knows, things will never be the same

Everything has its own history
The heart aches in every memory
Finding a way to share its story
For when it rains, there's so much mystery
