When Misery Overwhelms Me Poem by D.L. Aceves

When Misery Overwhelms Me

Rating: 4.8

When misery overwhelms me,
And the world I can not bear,
I help release my sorrows
Through slices here and there.

One of many easy methods
I use to solve a problem
That no one even knows about
'Cause I've been afraid to tell them.

I replace my tears with smiles,
And hide the marks with clothes,
Then go about, like all is well,
Concealing all my woes.

Lovely poem depicting pains and sorrows that afflict hearts of so many people going through depression, as they go about their daily business. I like the articulation and insight of the poem. A nice poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
