When The Darkness Comes Out To Play. Poem by leo conway

When The Darkness Comes Out To Play.

Rating: 5.0

When the darkness comes out to play
Is when the rain falls no longer
It’s when day is darker than the night
When there are no children out to play
That’s when you know that the darkness is out at play
But in the darkness there will be a light
A bright light in the middle of all the darkness
And that’s where you will find me
In the light fighting the darkness
Will you be there with me
Fighting the darkness in the name of all that is good
Or will you be in the darkness
Always feeling pain
Where will you be
Hopefully with me

Leo...This is a very nice poem...well written. I like the idea of darkeness and light representing all that is evil...or good. Obviously you've chosen which side of the path you'll be standing on, and are inviting others to join you. Well done! Hugs, Dee
