When The Time Comes Poem by Maselo George

When The Time Comes

When the time comes,
All my tools I will lay done,
Some of which I forgot I had,
All I will lay down,
When the time comes,
Mothers, daughters, fathers, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends,
And even enemies,
Will cover their faces in grief,

Ha! Ha! Ha! Crying for me,
No! Saying goodbye,
To one who will never return?
Should I laugh at you?
Why the care when I no longer need it,
I am now free and happy with where am going,
So let you no thirst yourselves crying,
Coz where am going I will be fine,
My father waits for me,
So I have to go,
I will miss you all,
Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
