When Vultures Move In Poem by Dorsey Baker

When Vultures Move In

The vultures were swarming all around
timing their attack
they knew the time would eventually come
when they could move in
they could smell the weakness
and the frailness of the creature
The strength of their numbers
and their great skill
would assure
that their attack would be successful
They would surround the creature
so it could not escape
They were blood thirsty
after the creature
They would torture the creature
until its anger developed
the vultures would see
the creature struggling to survive
then they would move in!
