when you are alone
you become a thinker
and then you begin
loving it when you are alone
and deeply you sink deeper
into another depth and you
feel not like a river anymore
but an ocean where a stone falls
silently and remains silent
throughout a finished journey
nothing is there but you are
not drowned in that nothingness
albeit you feel like a filled
well with water overflowing
no one hears you but
you never ask.

Ric, I love this poem. Yes, it is true, when you are alone you become a thinker. Deeply you sink deeper - that says it all in those few words. I get lost when I go within, don't like coming back out, because there are so many fascinating thoughts floating around. Thank you for this wonderful poem. RoseAnn
