Where Are The Parents Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Where Are The Parents

If the older sibling,
Is made to make a younger sibling...
Do something done,
The older one also does too.
That younger sibling,
Will always accuse the older...
For being mean making them do things.
That the parents should be teaching,
Both to do together.
And...
Where 'are' the parents, anyway?
Maybe the older sibling,
Has grown tired of expecting to be one.
When a childhood wished to have goes missed!
