Where are the puppies gone?

Only yesterday I saw them;
With playful dances and glances
At the sight of which
Pleasures of passers-by soared beyond measure
Some going up and down as if to tear
Some glued to the breast of their mother
Looked not more than fortnight old
A fleet of a dozen or more
So cute and beautiful they were
Oh, little pups you whine and you yelp
With your wagging tails in the air
Only love, love, love, you say
I hear and midnight is almost here
Let me go home a little away
Promising to see you day next here
To share blithesome moments with you, my dear
Night was done
And my heart leapt to see them soon
Cheerfully my eyes searched them
Only to find tearfully little souls gone to heaven
A cruel hand poisoned them to eternal rest
Winter was cold
But the world was colder
Inhibiting little buds blossom into flowers
And for a moment my senses locked in seizure..........

How sad....! ! Little pups glued to their mother's udders, contently wagging their tails is such a cute sight...! When they are too young and fluffy with their ears hanging down, they are so charming to look at! Some people are so hard hearted, that without any remorse, they destroy these lovely creatures! !
