Where Are You Poem by Desy Newbill

Where Are You

It’s lonely in the morning
As well as in the eve
Mid day is distracting
But the truth still stings

I have no one
By my own standards
By my own choice
I have no love
I do it to myself

I don’t know what to do
I won’t settle for less
No less than butterflies
And men are fools
But so am I

Alone I stand.
Always looking
Always searching
Consuming obsession

Where is he
Untouchably in love
Is it real
Am I wasting my youth?

Where are you

I have no one By my own standards By my own choice I have no love I do it to myself I don’t know what to do I won’t settle for less No less than butterflies And men are fools But so am I totally love these lines. how innocently this poem explains how a person is in search of love, not ready to compromise with anyone but wants the best and until that special person is found self love is the best. wow great work.. totally love the poem! ! ! !
