Where I Die Poem by Randy McClave

Where I Die

Will it be because of my belief against racism
Or maybe because of my thoughts against terrorism,
Or maybe it will be my beliefs against the NRA
For stricter gun control laws, I always do pray.
Maybe I will be standing at someone's side
Protecting their honor, belief and/ or their pride,
Or maybe I will be all alone battling strife
Or maybe instead I will be saving a strangers life.
Maybe it will be when I'm walking down the road
And I'm helping someone out with their load,
Or maybe it will be just a random hit and run
Or maybe it will be some coward with a gun.
Maybe I will have a cardiac
Or maybe by a friend I will be stabbed in the back,
But, then only God knows when I will be gone
And only he will know, the hill that I will die on.
