Where's My Will To Live Poem by Alice Kingsleigh

Where's My Will To Live

Rating: 4.5

When the night comes
And I can cry
When the day comes
And I must disguise

Trying to please everyone
Losing the will to live
I shouldn't give up
But I'm only dust now

The most important
Piece of me
Was taken away
I'll never forget

'You must be strong'
Easier said, than done
When you realize
I'm gonna be gone.

When depression rears its ugly head, it is very important that one should remain strong and optimistic. Faith keeps those that keep the faith. A well articulated piece of poetry, nicely penned. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Remaining strong and optimistic is the hardest thing to do sometimes. Your poem about Mandela is a very nice poem :)
