Still Here I Stand Poem by Alice Kingsleigh

Still Here I Stand

Rating: 5.0

The road was rough
Hopeless and dark
Cold and often lonely
Still here I stand

You wanna die
Don't wanna fight
The worst demons
Only dwell in your head

You feel like giving up
It's not worth trying
No one seems to care
Why would I?

Just know something
Time spent seeking help
Is seldom wasted
It takes time

But you'll be free
It's hard I know
I've been there
And I've been set free

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I am not a good poem writer, I just like to write my feelings..So here we go.
4 years ago I uploaded 2 poems on how bad I felt dealing with depression.
Now I uploaded one saying that I am overcoming it little by little and I am almost 100%.
For all of you out there struggling with this, seek help.
You're not alone and you're loved.
Feel free to message me if you need to talk.
