Whispers Of Something Wild Poem by A.Z. McCoy

Whispers Of Something Wild

Now whisper something wild
Split my insides with your chisel
Love, you have opened me wide
To horizon skies and burning embers
The truths in your hand rise
Smokey singsong strands, cosmonotic helices
In dance entwined
Spiral me upward, sit me in your choir
Starry cradle nebulous in night's carousel
Let the wind rush your playground
Hyacinths in your childhood hair
Dusk's glow in your hometown eye
Whispers of something wild
