Too long in my affliction...
Caught in a dream, in fiction;
In shame and in disdain,
And a madness of the brain.
Now, the heart forgot the pain,
And the sadness of the rain:
Time, distance, and apart, —
They healed my broken heart.
Green courage is in spring,
Hope's blooming through the wind;
Sweet, candid little dreams:
The power of my wings!
The velvet touch of joy,
Rosy face in bloom, and coy:
So deeply and suave—
The purity of love!
That Love will come again:
The heart will not restrain!
With its possessing force:
The white beauty of a horse!
The velvet touch of joy, Rosy face in bloom and coy: So deeply and suave — The purity of love! ..... loved these lines. Purity of love comes after affliction, disdain and shame. Dear Pirjol, you have astutely painted this poem with nice penmanship. Beautiful poem.10

The pain and hurt of a relationship breaking up is beautifully presented and that time can heal evantually! Passion is an emotion that bounces back as love is so powerful it reinvents itself!
