Who Am I? Poem by Jesse Overton

Who Am I?

Rating: 5.0

Searching through this life
Day in
Day out
All these different cultures
All these different styles
Where do I fit in?
Rap over here
Rock over there
Hardcore gangster's club
Redneck biker club
Dark Emo/Goth club
Preppy Holister club
Am I just a Fad?
I'll stay original
Or else I'll fade
When I call it a night
I look in the mirror and say
Who am I?

We all ask that question in life. I know I do. Despite all these group and 'fads' we chose to be in them, they define our beliefs a lot of the time and personality defines us not our groups. It is an awesome poem.
