Who Am I? Poem by Ravin Sharma

Who Am I?

I burn inside but I glow outside
I live in blackness, but I am the god of shadows.
I am a friend but I am a killer.
I never lie, I never die.
I am a silent angry god
deluded by injustice, or a fool.

I am like the sun, but my glow is brighter,
I kill little sweet gems of happiness,
and then I live like the sun in darkness.
I live inside those who ‘befriend' me
‘More than their friends'. I am a killer,
I live for the world but I'll never die.
Who am I?
