Who Cares? Poem by Junate Ers.

Who Cares?

It's 7: 00 am
Waking up from nothing,
As nothing changed
From nothing.

It's 7: 45 am
No bagel cream cheese today
So what'll happen now?
Who cares?

It's 7: 55 am
The bus is crammed
Like yesterday and
Days earlier.

The young student couple
At the back,
The girl is squezeed
Between the boy and the window,
As they discover novelties
In their search of sex,
One is curiuos on
how they spend their nights
As separate and hands-off.

It's 8: 15 am
Being late for office
As he's caught by others
In attitude of informants
Who cares?

It's 9: 35 am
Notifications in inbox
Making the lips spread
Across the face.
Who is that?
Who liked my recent pictures
Posted on Facebook?

It's 12: 35 pm
A book in long-time reading
On lunches and home come-backs
Worn-out and lonely
But taking him away
To the faraway skies.
I do care!

It's 6: 35 pm
Stopping at a bookstore
Inhaling the magnificient scents
Of books printed today and
Many years back.
A venue missed and refreshed
From all the commonplace
And the disgust.
It's like putting feet into
Water on an oasis.

It's 7: 40 pm
Encountering two kids
Walking astray on the square
Without their dad and mom
How did these guys get lost?
Calming them down
And finding an police officer
Without knowing
what'll happen next.
I do care!

It's 8: 50 pm
Dinner alone,
On the red checkered table cloth.
What is he eating?
Who cares?

It's 9: 35 pm
Making some casual surfs
Cheking last messages
On social media

It's 'Who cares pm' now
It's my time.
That's not my life,
No, that can not be!
Nobody cares about it!
Nobody lives it!
But everybody has it!

So what's gonna happen?
Don't forget,
It's a' Who cares time.
