Who Controls And Rules Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Who Controls And Rules

Mother Nature knows.
When time to give a dose of reality,
May be overdue.
But coming to be done is needed.

Mother Nature knows.
Those who forget but need to be reminded.
Just how precious life to get.
Should be realized to prioritize,
The preciousness of it to value it given.

Mother Nature knows.
Like Father God who chooses.
To stop listening to excuses made.
Done to abuse His creations.
With misdeeds to do by the self annointed.
Appointing themselves deliverers of conflicts.

Mother Nature knows.
Where to go and who to show,
How the effects of desolation.
Devastation and isolation,
Can sit to feel the permanence of it.
Leaving those of their evil doings,
Left haunted by their acts of hatred.
And unwarranted bigoted beliefs.

Indeed.
Mother Nature does know.
When to inflict her own brand,
Of tough love.
And just how to expose,
Her tempestuous ways.
Upon those using deception to abuse.

Mother Nature knows who to show,
When to disrupt corrupted thoughts.
To have those to find it pointless.
When folks of all races from different places,
Come together to provide each other comfort.
Empathy and emotional relief.
Regardless of political affiliation.
And the senseless of an assortment,
Of religious beliefs claiming devotion...
And faithfulness to one God.

Oh yeah.
The proof is in the winds that whip.
The churning of the oceans and seas.
The branches snapped off magnificent trees.
The changing of the seasons.
This...
Mother Nature knows.
And who it is that controls and rules.
