Who'Ll Kill That Moron? Poem by neha sharma

Who'Ll Kill That Moron?

Two sides parting away,

Moving onto a journey to succeed.

Onto trekking to grab pinnacle,

Onto whetting the grudges.

Fracas everywhere,

Inferno of heaving.

Sounds in the grounds,

Echoes in the air.

What about the families turn asunder?

Love parting ways.

Islamic lad schlepping,

Hindu lass scuttling.

Maniacal mutineers with cut- throat daggers,

Said he, “Who’ll kill that moron? ”

“Who’ll kill that coquette? ”, said the swine.

In the garb of murk,

Violence and fracas and riots.

What do I do?

Myriad blued beings,

Deify some supernatural being,

Indulged in nugatory vengeance.

I ferret for you, Ammi,

Me scrounging for you, Papa.

Where are my kinsmen?

Thwacking in a trice,

Mingy folk craving for lives,

Allah will mete you.

Moan and groan and lament,

Natty vistas lost.

Paradise looming like mirage.

Daffodils, a little later, ash

Violence; anathema to altruism.

Spare my infants, Ram

Antagonism and annihilation and angst.

Who’ll listen to my groan?

Do these rebels also moan?

Atrocious and scurrilous remarks by scumbags,

Scupper of endeavors to amicability.

Mutineers sassing the elderly,

Who can be sangfroid?

Satan showering with shin-digs.

Gall and wormwood discourse exchanged.

Deleterious rifles targetted tooth and nail.

Will nature also part sides?

When’ll ginormous but gimcrack vengeance end?

Either reneging the decided,

Dismantling the agreed upon.

Who treads the miles & thwart the perpetrators?

Who treads the miles & assemble the torn?

Will this halt for a while,

Till I skedaddle and turn into a corpse?
