Who Lost Their Necklace? Poem by Amanda May Moore

Who Lost Their Necklace?

This necklace I have found
To no one is it bound.
I found it just the other day
Whoever lost it I am sure that they
Will want it back
Or forever lack

It is a heart
That in one part
Is green and in the other
Dazzling blue does smother.
I know that I have seen it before...

But to who did it adore?
I have found it on the floor.
I shall wear it forevermore
Until that person comes through the door,
Then I will not wear it anymore

This necklace I have found
Is just hanging around
My neck until it finds its owner
But for now it is a loaner.
