Who Or The Whomever Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Who Or The Whomever

Who or the whomever,
Inebriated on self indulgence.
And drugged on the ease of wealth.
Illegally to get.
Decided and convinced others,
Also nibbling on self importance.
Of a brilliant idea.
That would have one of them,
Known to be a genius businessman.
Highly intelligent.
Reeking of confidence.
Packaged and wrapped,
In an image representing...
Everything 'Superman' would envy.
Who or the whomever that was,
To initiate, recommend and suggest.
Has today...
Probably undergone,
Extensive plastic surgery.
Walking around freely.
And having no need to be sheltered,
In a witness protection program.
To feel safe and secure,
From threats of death or hints of harm.
