Whole Hearted Love Poem by Jared Bradford

Whole Hearted Love

Tell me
If seeing is believing
How can you show
To disperse my disbelief
Where do you find the strength to stand back up on 2 feet?
So easy not to believe
More impossible to find relief
And in these moments, I can't think of anything quite as sweet
As when we'll meet again
Up in Heaven
But until then, all I got is this pen
To attempt to vent, commence belief
That this is really reality
Tough pill to swallow
When that frog in my throat
Has me all choked up
And all I can do is read back what I wrote
And hope it somehow can lift others spirits
Hope I can spill this emotion in to a completed lyric
But what does it even mean if you can't even hear it?
So show me how this is right,
God, cause I think that it's all wrong
Yeah, I know it's said that the good die young
But all I can see is this casket
Maybe it's the only proof that
You're really gone
I still don't accept it
But we'll still send our blessings
Our thought, all our prayers
All our love and our care
I swear
That's the only thing that can cure some despair
Cause all I can do down here is say this sh*t isn't fair
You should still be down here
Now all we do is wipe away our tears
But I know you're up there
Watching over
Hey you taught us how to fight,
In your short time, so we can't stay forever sobbing
Life can be wobbly
Quality or Quantity
Wish we could have had more time
But we loved you
And you us, whole heartily

RIP W.A.D.
