Whose My Valentine Poem by Randy McClave

Whose My Valentine

Whose going to be my valentine
Whose going to make my heart shine,
Who is that woman going to be
Who is going to be that love for me.

Who will I buy candy and flowers for
For who will I shop romantically at the store,
Then who will I take out to eat
Who will be my Valentine treat.

Must I wait for her to retire
As though I am preaching to a lonely choir,
Or maybe she's waiting to win the lottery
As she places my remains in pottery.

For who will I write a romance poem
To which to everyone she'll recite and show them,
To whom can I finally give my heart
Then fill my soul with both love and art.

So, here I am as I hope and I wish
For that special smile and that fateful kiss,
Still every night I so solemnly pray
For that woman on Valentine's Day.
