Why Did I Open That Letter Poem by Nkululeko Mdudu

Why Did I Open That Letter

Rating: 4.5

Nkululeko hi, ndisakuqumbele you know...
Plus I don’t think you are a good friend because,
A good friend would not hurt the other intentionally.
Wena uthe I’m an uncivilized b...tch
(Please don't laugh because this is serious) .
If you’re gonna keep up with your behaviour...
Then I’m sorry, but we’re gonna have to end our friendship!
If you’re still thinking that we could have something then you must be crazy! !
I don’t really see you as husband material now.
I'm not saying these things out of anger or hatred VA.
I realise that I have been emotionally unstable for these past couple of days/weeks...
And I think you had something to do with it (partially) ,
So for me to be myself again, I think that I need to 'face my fears'!
So anyway... enjoy the rest of your day VA! ! And remember that I still love you!
If you have any response/feedback to this then please, don’t hesitate!
Cheers!

And some women actually claim that they are not crazy. HaHaHaHaHa! I hope my women friends don't take offense. But a man would never write somethong like this. He just thinks it. He knows better than to put it on paper. GW62

This is a really personal post and it takes a lot of balls to do that. Respect. You have the abillity to access the most important component of a poet; the inner self. Now you need to craft it and grow it. If you can do that you will become great. That's what I believe anyway.

Ah! letters in many forms must be open to reveal whats inside. Or else we'll never know what was it, It could be rewarding in any phase for you have faced your fears and will never have the thought of IF oneday.... Cate

Ouch! you had no choice but to open the letter.... I like the flow of it... I am not as sophisticated to give deep comments like Yoonoos, but it is a good write and certainly inspiring... I have never thougth of writing in that style (the letter) . Good one.
