Why Have Faith In Me? Poem by Light Mark

Why Have Faith In Me?

Can you not read another poem of mine?
Can't you easily lose faith in meas I have effortlessly done?
Can't you toss conscience to the wind when I bare my feelings?

I see, you wear your mother's smile. And her love for an unsure soul.
Obviously, your daddy's story isn't mainstream tale.
You constantly question why mum accepted him.

Girl,
hate me when I say I love you.
Please look me crazy when I approach the discuss.
Or aren't you discerning enough to perceive fruitlessness?

Don't hope on me cause my life is mere wishful.
Don't dare let poems mislead you.
Don't think I deserve a extra chance.
Experience has emphasized that I won't amount to much.

Don't bother.
Don't stress.
A dreamer might just die in his nightmare.
And a girl might not need become a widow.

But,
I
Love you
Yet the weight of my reality is a burden I wish not for you.
