Behind My Heart Poem by Light Mark

Behind My Heart

Rating: 5.0

I'm the rules of engagement
writing my deeds on history
Stories of a the Legend
My kind; men unborn calls untrue
life too beautiful to be true
and my name immortal and divine

A pride to the sons of the earth
when they look to the sun would see my likeness
quotes of mine related by gods
Impact and impart immeasurable
that my voice awaken spirits of good

Open my hand for judgement
Close their mouth and heart to hate
bless men through seasons
be close to the dove
and my God.
