Why Wait? Poem by Logan McDougall

Why Wait?

Why must you leave us?
Here in our time of need, time of darkness, Time in deed!
Perfection you are, must be a reason?
Our minds cannot grasp it, but maybe we can!
Step out, step out, into this new birth spring season!
Take wind and fly above our pride, above our self-indulgence!
Open eyes to a new voice of Truth!

You are gone from this earth it's plain and it's true!
We read and we read, pray and pray, but nothing changes your mind. You Are with your Father, perfection in heaven.
Why must you stay with Him?
Why can't you come to us, run to us, with open arms?
But a revelation is faint but true and bright!
You will come and recieve us in the blink of an eye!
Why make us wait, why let us suffer, and stumble in pain?
2 people are here, but only one is waiting.
Both can receive it, but only one truely will!

Oh blind to this, Oh weeping in pain, suffer in filth on this earth full of sin.
our soul craves these things, but it pulls up hands of the soul, empty, filled with nothing. These people if He was here would only believe in Him by supernatural events. Or with heart so hardened, would ignore the facts, ignore the Glory, the're Faith would mean nothing.

Now we move to another person, we must see it,
Don't miss this point so crucial and true!
He left us; but imagine if He were here.
If He were here we would see and believe so easily not out of Love!
Our Christ would be taken for granted because we are human.
Faith takes its part in the Asention of our Lord!
This seperation it tries us, so perfect, so true, and sets a flame.
Burning and longing, longing and burning!
A perfect void, a gap He will fill it, and the Time that He is taking it only increases our Love, if we wait in Faith and Trust in His blood!
