Wide Awake In Wonderland Poem by Natalie Iris

Wide Awake In Wonderland

I gazed out of the window
And spotted a nice little fellow.
'This is Wonderland-
A wonderful land that you could stand.'

Snow covered the entire town
As if it wore a gorgeous gown.
Birds flapped their colorful wings
A spectacular atmosphere this place brings.

Walk along the winding pathway
A cool breeze blew your troubles away.
Sunrays burst through the clouds
Lighting everything up, the sun should be proud.

Up above the sapphire sky
Were everybody's dreams that never die.
Deep under the cerulean ocean
Were everyone's ambitions that never come to cessation.

I peered into the window
And found no sign of sorrow.
'This is Wonderland-
A wonderful land that you could stand.'
