In the little cage
Is a beautiful bird.
It cheeps everyday
That's what you have heard.

The beautiful bird cheeps
For the day of reunion.
As a hunter creeps
And caught its brethren.

The beautiful bird sings
For the day of recovery.
As its wounds stings
And send it in pain.

The beautiful bird warbles
For the day of freedom.
As it is hit with a pebble
And locked up in the darkness.

The beautiful bird cheeps everyday
For its hope and aspiration.
As tomorrow may be gay
And never give up.
Cheep on forever
Till the life is over.
