Will He Miss Me? Poem by Aqua Flower

Will He Miss Me?

Rating: 4.8

I said goodbye and wondered
Will I ever see him again
I said goodbye not only to my lover
but my best friend
And all a while I asked myself
will he miss me
like flowers miss rain
does he feel the same pain
Will his heart ache much
not having my love, my affection, my touch
Will he miss me
I want him to
For then I would really know
that he loved me too

Pain produces the best poem. This is one of your best! 'will he miss me like flowers miss rain does he feel the same pain' - those who were ever in your shoes, know well how irresistibly these questions run through the mind. My very best wishes, AF! I know, you will overcome this ordeal soon. Cheer up!

Saying goodbye can be hard, especially if you are not sure how the other person really felt. It does leave you feeling even more lonely.

It does! I'm looking for a replacement. When you find the one....you are always comparing hoping that person will morph into who you fell in love with in the first place.

The question is " des it really matter? " . If something reaches its end, let it stay in the past. Excellent poem!

Love reading this poem, I can somehow feel the writer's resigned yearning mixed with a little hint of hope, a feeling somewhat between a cliff and the sky.

Thank you for this comment. That's the highest honor when you can touch somebody else with your feelings.
